According to the prophecy in Zechariah 12:10, the Jewish people were supposed to turn to the Messiah in 70 AD. But they did not do that.
Nations Not Judged in 70 AD
In Matthew 25:31-46, it talks about the judgment of nations, but this did not happen in 70 AD.
These events are described as happening in the future, not in the past Dr. Thomas Ice and the Radio Discussion.
Nero Was Not the Antichrist
Nero died in 68 AD, before the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD.
He was an evil emperor but not the “King of fierce countenance” mentioned in Daniel 8:23.
Nero never made a covenant with Israel (as described in Daniel 9:26-27).
Nero did not declare himself to be God or demand to be worshiped, as described in 2 Thessalonians 2:4.
Nero committed suicide, and he did not give anyone a mark or stop people from buying and selling.
Preterists Deny Future Temples
Preterists deny that there will be future temples like the Tribulation Temple or the Millennial Temple Walking Guided Tours Ephesus.
They believe that all the events in Revelation, like the vials, bowls, seals, and trumpet judgments, are symbolic.
Why Symbolic Second Coming?
Why do people with this belief system accept that all of Jesus’ first coming prophecies were fulfilled literally, but Second Coming prophecies must be symbolic?
Is it okay to pick and choose which prophecies are literal and which are symbolic?
This approach is not consistent and lacks biblical and intellectual honesty.
